How the scores workRules v2.2

100 points shared between you

Each matched metric divides 100 points in proportion to the two reported values: your value ÷ (your value + their value) × 100. For example, 400 mounts versus 300 gives 57.1 and 42.9 points. Equal values, including two confirmed zeros, give 50 each.

Every available category, section and overall result shares 100 points between the contenders before display rounding. A score above 50 wins the matchup; 50 each is a tie. These are matchup scores, not global rankings or a measure of perfect progress.

Two halves. Equal importance.

Character and Warband each contribute 50% to the overall score. Categories use the weights shown below. PvP averages comparable current-season rating, Honour Level and lifetime Honourable Kills; unrated activity can score without a current rating. Shared Renown averages its matched factions; raid progression adds weighted boss completions across matching Blizzard raids and difficulties, including historical raids. LFR is excluded and repeat kills do not add points.

Overall = (Character + Warband) ÷ 2

Missing data stays missing

A metric is scored only when both players have matching data. An unavailable category is excluded for both players and the remaining weights are rescaled. Missing categories and metrics are explained in the Score Breakdown. Both sections must have data to produce an overall result.

Progress, with context

Ties are decided at the displayed precision of one decimal place. A higher score reflects progress under these rules, not player skill. Raw character stats are shown without awarding points across different classes.

Achievements can overlap with combat and collection progress. No additional rarity or prestige bonuses are invented. Toys and appearances are not yet included.

All scoring data comes from Blizzard. Mythic+ uses Blizzard’s current seasonal rating; raid progression uses reported encounter completions. Warband information comes from the selected character’s public profile, not a private account scan. Different character snapshots can temporarily report different shared totals. Shared Renown is limited to the explicitly listed factions.
